Systematization of pedagogycal experiences in the EFL teaching training program

Abstract

Abstract: The systematization is an important means to reflect on the experience as a teacher and allows to improve the teaching-learning process since it offers the educator to plan lessons and create effective teaching alternatives considering both strengths and weaknesses. This work entitled Systematization of pedagogical experiences in the EFL teacher training program describes the teaching practice within the English language field. Its main objective is to analyze the experience and knowledge acquired during these internships. The pre-professional practices were carried out in three public educational institutions, these are located in the city of Loja, Ecuador. The first practice consisted of observing teachers with experience in teaching English, then the internship as a lead teacher was developed. In addition, this research work contains personal analysis and reflections on teaching practice, describes the methods, strategies and plans used in class to improve the learning of a second language. Finally, this research concludes that the systematization of experiences is a tool to improve teaching and learn to manage a class, linking practice and theory to develop an effective pedagogy and become better professionals.
