Conexiones con el paisaje: mirador y estación de vuelo de parapente en el cerro Villonaco de la ciudad de Loja

Abstract

Abstract: The landscape is present in any architectural project, so this may not be an isolated element, must alwaysobey their context and fit in naturally with it, in such a way that it manages to preserve the qualities of the place and maintain its natural character. Based on the territoryanalysis and understanding the landscape, this work aims to develop an architectural proposal for a viewpoint and paragliding flight station in the Villonaco hill, providing the sector with an infrastructure that serves as a paragliding station, a short-stay center and viewpoint, all aimed at place value on the Andean landscape and consolidate paragliding sport as a tourist attraction. For the execution of the present research, an analysis of similar cases was developed in order to establish strategies and criteria of intervention, then a complete analysis of the territory was carried out, addressing its distant context and its closer context, until reaching the specific site of analysis (place); finally, this diagnosis allowed to propose a coherent design with the needs and vocation of the place.
