Estudio, diseño y elaboración de hormigones de alto desempeño con áridos provenientes del río Boquerón y del río Yacuambi

Abstract

Abstract: This research focuses on achieving a mixture of sediments that allows obtaining concrete with high performance characteristics, which must be designed according to the incorporation of stone materials selected from two of the most significant tributaries in the southern part of the country, the same ones that are the source of the concessions with the largest supply of stone aggregate production in the provinces of Loja and Zamora.In the study and characterization of these materials, they are used in the current NTE INEN regulations. To design and obtain the dosages (mixtures), we worked in accordance with the guide for the design of high-strength concrete of the American Concrete Institute, committee ACI 211.4R-08, where it is proposed to exceed the values of 70 MPA at compression where high-strength concretes begin.The main purpose is to carry out a comparative analysis with the design of two dosages using the sediments from Boquerón and Yacuambi, taking into account the parameters of quality, costs and good performance. The results obtained finally satisfy the requirements that respond to a high performance concrete.
