Abstract

Abstract: The scope of this work is to make known through a qualitative study the perception that they have in the Puyango canton about the use of non-bank correspondents, for which the information was collected based on a sample obtained from the PEA of the population, which indicates the different criteria that allow achieving the proposed objectives and developing alternatives that contribute to making the CNB a better known means of financial intermediation.A sample of exactly 360 people was taken for the information gathering, the study carried out is of great importance in the canton, with 50% of the respondents being men and 66% women who have used a CNB. 48% fully agree that the location to use a CNB is a decisive factor and that it should be located in well-known locations, on the other hand, 65% prefer to use this service in recognized financial institutions such as the Bank in this case from Guayaquil, the same one that has the greatest influence in the Puyango canton.
