Propuesta de un centro de rehabilitación social sostenible para la ciudad de Loja

Abstract

Abstract: The present work of the end of career has main objective of developing an architectural preliminary draft of a sustainable social rehabilitation center for the city of Loja, the same that has been selected and elaborated according to the level of complexity represented by the prison architecture and its direct influence on the process of social rehabilitation. It is necessary to mention the long and painful chain of problems identified in the current, wrong and outdated Ecuadorian prison system, as: Poor management of administrative resources Unfit conditions of prison infrastructure; On prison population overcrowding; Formation of criminal self-government within the prison centers; Little training to prison guides; Prison entertainment; Minimum prison productive activity; Insalubrity in the basic services provided to the convicted, among others. The condition of confinement should not affect the provision of opportunities for personal growth, therefore, the methodological process to be implemented is the progressive prison system, which recommends the use of productive systems to continue the development of skills and work capacities of private persons of freedom. Finally, the intention is through architecture to improve living conditions, through an adequateprison infrastructure accompanied by sustainable productive strategies, which guarantee a true process of social reintegration.
