Abstract

Abstract: Virtual reconstruction involves the use of various technological tools linked to the archaeological study of heritage assets in order to recreate elements of the past, helping to interpret and disseminate our cultural heritage, without directly intervening and altering archaeological remains.The research aims to study the foundation systems of the pre-Columbian cultures of Ecuador, having as study units three archaeological sites: Cochasquí, Palanda and Ingapirca, which are presented as potential references due to their characteristics where the infrastructure is evidenced that developed these first societies, as well as the monumental architecture, which is based on the knowledge of basic engineering and handling of different materials. In addition, thesesites that have managed to withstand the passage of time and that to this day much of their original structure is still preserved. The proposal has a three-dimensional approach that will help the observation and analysis of the evidence regarding its construction, shape and materiality.
