Abstract

Abstract: This work carried out in the city of Catacocha of the Paltas canton, allows showing the establishments of the existing tourist offer, showing the capacity that it can offer to the tourists who visit it, the results are shown through geographical maps. To carry out this investigative work, the collection of bibliographic information and field work were essential; For the georeferencing of each registered and unregistered tourist establishment, a GPS application called Polaris Navigator was used, installed on an Android cell phone, taking the latitude and longitude data, with this later, the maps are carried out in the ArcGis 10.4 program convenient. With the information obtained, several improvement strategies are proposed, and the application of biosafety regulations, in order to generate tourist development in the city, promoting it as a destination in Loja.
