dc.descriptionResumen:El presente trabajo de investigación consiste en el análisis de los memes como recurso de comunicación acerca del COVID-19. Los memes, así como los genes son pequeñas unidades de información que se transmiten de generación en generación, siendo estos datos de índole histórico y cultural que demuestran la libre expresión de los usuarios que los crean, reaccionan y comparten. El objetivo principal de este trabajo de investigación consistió en determinar el uso de los memes como recurso de comunicación en términos de efectividad, participación, y contenido tanto visual como semiótico; para alcanzar estos objetivos se realizó un banco de 500 memes de diferentes plataformas tales como Facebook, Twitter, Instagram y Google. Como técnica e instrumento de análisis se utilizó una ficha de datos y posterior tabulación. Los resultados obtenidos demostraron una alta participación de las personasen la transmisión de estos contenidos, también una buena recepción sobre la veracidad de la información, aunque existe una cierta incredulidad sobre este último tema que sería importante analizar, pero que aún así demuestra ser un gran recurso de comunicación durante la pandemia.es_ES
dc.description.abstractAbstract:This research work consists of the analysis of memes as a communication resource about COVID-19. Memes, as well as genes, are small units of information that are transmitted from generation to generation, these databeing of a historical and cultural nature that demonstrate the free expression of the users who create, react and share them. The main objective of this research work was to determine the use of memes as a communication resource in terms of effectiveness,participation, and both visual and semiotic content; To achieve these objectives, a bank of 500 memes from different platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Google weremade. As a technique and instrument of analysis, a data sheet and subsequent tabulation were used. The results obtained showed a high participation of people in the transmission of these contents, also a good reception about the veracity of the information, although there is a certain disbelief on this last topic that it would beimportant to analyze, but which still proves to be a great communication resource during the pandemic.es_ES
