Determinación de las propiedades físicas-mecánicas de seis variedades de maderas de la región sur oriental del Ecuador (Parte I)

Abstract

Abstract: The present end-of-degree work aims to study the physical-mechanical behavior of six species of woods from the south eastern region of Ecuador. The most relevant parameters to be obtained are: Modulus of elasticity, stress at the limit of proportionality and modulus of rupture. As a complement to the research, we proposed to carry out the simulation of the tests for each species studied supported by the ANSYS Workbench software. With the results obtained both in the MTS press, as well as those obtained under the ANSYS Workbench software simulation, approximate results are expected, in this way to corroborate them and be able to obtain the average between these two methods, then take it as the last value, the that allowed to be able to analyze and obtain conclusions, in this way it can be contributed to the study of wood in the structural constructive part. The research being analyzed is developed from data obtained in other investigations that were developed by the student Luis Fernando Viñan Pelaez as a project to obtain the title of Civil Engineer granted by the Private Technical University of Loja.
