| Abstract: | Abstract: The purpose of this study is to analyze the living conditions found by the inhabitants of informal settlements in the Punzara parish, through the analysis of the urban structure and the socio-cultural characteristics of the population, to identify strengths and weaknesses present in the area. In the city of Lojathere are seven informal settlements in the Punzara parish, located within the urban area and the rural area, whose natural physical and socioeconomic characteristics have not been studied, therefore the design of strategies and actions to improve the quality of life of these spaces is limited. For the analysis of the settlements, we started from an analysis of the city of Loja, through the use of cartographic layers of theAutonomousDecentralizad Municipal Governmentof Loja, later the location of the settlements and their natural physical and socio-economic characteristics will be identified. Finally, strategies and scenarios were formulated to improve the quality of life of the populationlocated there. As a result, the relevant characteristics of each settlement were obtained and proposals were formulated for each one of them. |
| Description: | Resumen: El presente estudio tiene como propósito analizar las condiciones de vida que se encuentra los habitantes de los asentamientos informales en la parroquia Punzara, mediante el análisis dela estructura urbana y de las características socio culturales de la población, para identificar fortalezas y debilidades presentes en el área.En la ciudad de Loja, parroquia Punzara existen siete asentamientos informales, localizados dentro del área urbana y el área rural, cuyas características físico naturales y socioeconómicas no han sido estudiadas, por tanto el diseño de estrategias y actuaciones para mejorar la calidad de vida de estos espacios es limitada. Para el análisis de los asentamientos se partió desde un análisis de la ciudad de Loja, mediante el uso de capas cartográficas del GAD Municipal de Loja, posteriormente se identificaron la ubicación de los asentamientos y sus características físico naturales y socioneconómicas. Finalmente se procedió a formular estrategias y escenarios para mejorar la calidad de vida la población allí localizada. Como resultado se obtuvo las características relevantes de cada asentamiento y se formularon propuestas para cada uno de ellos. |
