| Abstract: | Abstract:Perception is understood as the interpretation of the sensations generated by the activities of the environment, organizing them,and giving them meaning, that is, transforming them into information. With this background, the present work investigated the inhabitants of the parishes of Conocoto and Guangopolo belonging to the city of Quito, about their perception on issues related to the vision of the environment and environmental problems, responsibility, attitude and intention to incorporate change and environmental training. For the present work, which has a quantitative focus on their research, 382 surveys were carried out on people over 18 years of age. A simple random sampling system method was used, where once the group was determined, individuals were selected for the collection of information. The surveys carried out yielded the same results that indicate the level ofknowledge and perception regarding socio-environmental issues, as well as the weak negative relationship between the variable of perception and environmental policy. |
| Description: | Resumen:Se entiende como percepción,a la interpretación de las sensaciones generadas por las actividades del entorno, organizándolas y dándoles significado, es decir transformándolas en información. Con dicho antecedente, el presente trabajo indagó en los habitantes de las parroquias de Conocoto y Guangopolo, pertenecientes a ciudad de Quito,acerca de su percepción en temas relacionados con la visión del medio ambiente y problemas ambientales, responsabilidad, actitud e intención de incorporación al cambio y formación ambiental. Para el presente trabajo,el cual tiene un enfoque cuantitativo en su investigación, se realizaron 382 encuestas a personas mayores de 18 años. Se utilizó un método sistema de muestreo aleatorio simple,donde una vez determinado el grupo se seleccionan los individuos para la recopilación de información. Las encuestas realizadas arrojaron resultados,los mismos que indican el nivel de conocimiento y percepción con respecto a los temas socio ambientales, así como la relación débil negativa entre la variable de percepción y política ambiental. |
