Smart university campus: evaluación y propuesta para la UTPL

Abstract

Abstract: Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) must be immersed in universities, cities, governments and companies, because they generate new knowledge that can be reflected through initiatives, developed projects, and it is also observed in the quality of teaching and all services that are positively changing for the benefit of the university community. The automation of various processes is one of the advantages obtained from ICTs.Considering that a Smart Campus is a small example of Smart Cities that makes use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), integrates and increases technology with human faculties, and which generates a new lifestyle for the university community. The objective of this Degree Project is to present aSmart Campus architecture proposal for theUniversidad Técnica Particular de Loja. The architecture proposal for a Smart Campus was developed, focusing on scalability and flexibility for initiatives that are implemented independently and initiatives that may arise in the near or medium future, thus improving the services offered for the benefit of the entire community. university community.
