Abstract:Ecuador as a tourist destination worldwide; It has places in different stages of development. In the Amazon Region, El Pangui, has great growth expectations, due to the tourism-ecological potential. This research with the Methodology for the Recovery of Urban Ravines by Ninike Celi (2015) analyzes the Cayamatza and Tumbayme ravines, the main water sources in the city of El Pangui, both their physical and urban state, managing to propose urban landscape strategies that seek to increase recreational areas from the city. Proposal consisting of the conservation and recovery of the soil and public and open spaces; in addition, it includes environmental and urban aspects. According to environmental problems, treatments are created to recover and conserve water resources; natural areas and family recreation; reinforcing the natural spaces with the intervention of the inhabitants to generate a sense of belonging according to the needs. Sustainability and sustainability strategies that improve the quality of life; unifying the recovered places towards the interior, linking them in a continuous way with the existing ones, generating a system of spaces that function in an integral way.
