Las tecnologías de información y comunicación (TIC) como herramientas de estudio para el aprendizaje de la comunicación social en las universidades de Loja-Ecuador

Abstract

Abstract:Digital evolution had completely reinvented learning dynamics, technology has been easily taking over the form of communicating. Hence, it is time to question, analyze and determine not only the support or technological formats as learning tools, also their sustainability and viability. In this actual research the use of information and communication technologies (ICTs), as communication learning tools in the universities of Loja, Ecuador. The methodological instruments employed are the bibliographical review, web-based observation, applying online surveys to students, semi structured interviews to experts and communication professors, qualitative and quantitative investigation instruments were applied, the chosen sample is composed by students of the presence-based modality career of communication, both in the Universidad Técnica Particular de Loja and Universidad Nacional de Loja . Through the application of these tools, an answer is intended to be given both to the investigation questions and the hypothesis proposed at the beginning, taken into account that both are focused on learning and communicating using the ICTs.
