Abstract

Abstract:In the present work, the neighborhood is located as a fundamental part of social life, which is why an adequate public space is essential for the development of activities. The Capulí neighborhood located to the south of the city on the urban limit presents certain characteristics of a neighborhood with levels of vulnerability that can affect the development of the neighborhood and its inhabitants. An investigation of the characteristics of the neighborhood is proposed to obtain the necessary information and thus be able to propose solutions to the levels of vulnerability. As a fundamental part of the work, the participation of the community becomes a key point in the development of solutions. For this, a methodology that adapts to the current situation is used. With a clearer vision of the situation in the neighborhood, comprehensive strategies are proposed to reduce the levels of vulnerability and thereby enhance the neighborhood.
