Identificación de problemas socio-ambientales en la parroquia Alamor, del cantón Puyango-2020

Abstract

Abstract:At a global level, the socio-environmental problem has been advancing as the economic development of nations has progressed, with which the exploitation of natural resources has been highly affected, thus causing their degradation and depletion. Likewise, the demographic increase clearly implies an increase in the consumption of resources, as well as polluting sources. The purpose of this research work is to determine the main socio-environmental problems in Alamor parish, Puyango canton, by means of the population's perception, and from this, to determine strategies to confront the problems found. The methodology used consisted of a series of semi-structured surveys applied to people over 18 years of age in the parish, identifying that the soil resource is the most affected due to poor management and poor treatment of solid waste. Both commercial and productive activities have substantially influenced the problem. After the respective analysis of the results, a program was proposed within the framework of training and environmental education for the citizens of the parish, with the participation of the municipal government.
