Abstract:The "Comprehensive Plan for the Promotion of the Orange Economy - Creative Ecuador", executed by the national government generates a boost in the Cultural Industry, that is why the present research aims to carry out an analysis of the orange economy from the point of view of the performing arts (theater) in the Loja canton, for which the main involved in the performing arts from both the public and private sectors were identified, once having this information and based on a fully established methodology, the compilation and Analysis of the information, based on the above, we obtain the results that identify the social, economic and cultural impact as a result of COVID-19, generating major problems in the advancement of cultural events. For this, new strategies have been proposed to promote the performing arts (theater), and therefore continue with the development of the orange economy in the Loja canton.
