Acciones del estado ecuatoriano para enfrentar la violencia contra las mujeres en tiempos de pandemia

Abstract

Abstract: Violence against women is one of the most widespread violations, with the passage of time has forged political and media presence, currently gender violence has intensified highly as a result of the pandemic (Covid-19). The methodology used was the analytical, qualitative, quantitative and empirical method that allowed us to obtain accurate figures. Through interviews and surveys it was possible to know the actions that the Ecuadorian State would have taken to curb violence against women in times of pandemic, and it was also possible to analyze that there is a lack of application by the State at the time of giving support to the victims of violence since, It has not been possible to establish an adequate structure to help women in the situation of confinement, since the results show that the Ecuadorian society continues to increase the number of victims of violence, where most have broken the silence and have denounced their aggressor, but even so there is another percentage of the population of women who prefer to remain silent and not make the respective complaint.
