El derecho humano a la salud durante la pandemia de COVID-19 en Ecuador

Abstract

Abstract: The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the lives of millions of people worldwide since it has directly affected life as such, creating the greatest concern in the right to health and with more impact on the inhabitants of Latin America, since the consequences are alarming, mainly at the time of getting care and access to medical supplies, with this background it is proposed the development of the work called "The human right to health during the pandemic of Covid-19 in Ecuador . The research is based on a descriptive analysis of the Ecuadorian health system and a hermeneutic analysis of the existing regulations. For the field study, semi-structured interviews and case analysis were applied in a qualitative manner. As a general conclusion, it should be noted that there are indeed problems and nonconformities with respect to the health system in Ecuador, problems that have increased during the health crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
