| dc.description | Resumen:El trabajo de producción de cobayos se realizó en el cantón Quilanga, el cual tuvo como objetivos: Evaluar la ganancia de peso de cobayos en fase de engorde y determinar la relación beneficio/costo de cada tratamiento alimenticio. Bajo un diseño experimenta de bloques al azar se evaluó cuatro raciones alimenticias: alfalfa + harina de maíz, balanceado comercial al 100 %, forraje de maíz + harina de maíz y pasto saboya + harina de maíz. Las variables que se evaluaron fueron: consumo de alimento, incremento de peso, conversión alimenticia, rendimiento a la canal y cálculo de la relación beneficio/costo. Los resultados en 63 días de investigación indican que, el mayor consumo de alimento lo tuvo el tratamiento de pasto saboya + harina de maíz con una cantidad de 7648.81 g/animal y su relación beneficio/costo fue de 1.12 y el tratamiento de alfalfa + harina de maíz tuvo el mayor incremento de peso (786 g/animal) y el mejor porcentaje de rendimiento a la canal (70.1 %), pero su beneficio/costo fue 0.97 y la mejor conversión alimenticia fue con el tratamiento de balanceado. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | Abstract: The guinea pig production work was carried out in the Quilanga canton, which had the following objectives: Evaluate the weight gain of guinea pigs in the fattening phase and determine the benefit / cost ratio of each food treatment. Under an experimental design of random blocks, four food rations were evaluated: alfalfa + corn flour, 100% commercial balance, corn forage + corn flour and savoy grass + corn flour. The variables that were evaluated were: feed consumption, weight increase, feed conversion, carcass yield and calculation of the benefit / cost ratio. The results in 63 days of research indicate that the highest feed consumption was the treatment of savoy grass + corn flour with an amount of 7648.81 g / animal and its benefit / cost ratio was 1.12 and the treatment of alfalfa + flour of corn had the highest weight increase (786 g / animal) and the best percentage of yield to the carcass (70.1%), but its benefit / cost was 0.97 and the best feed conversion was with the balancing treatment. | es_ES |
