Abstract

Abstract:Education is a process through which learners, through methodological strategies and learning theories, acquire knowledge, abilities and skills, which allow them an effective development in their training. Constructivism, as a learning theory, significantly supports these processes that allow the learner to generate and acquire their own knowledge from their previous knowledge. Learning theories must not only be incorporated into teaching practice, but also must be done in the educational curriculum and in the Institutional Pedagogical Proposal, in this last component (PPI), it is very important, since they are reflected there the methodological guidelines that direct the effective and efficient actions of an educational institution, allows, clearly and precisely, to identify the educational purposes of the educational community within the framework of the development of the educational competences of students, the importance of this research it is framed precisely in the analysis and diagnosis of the principles of the Institutional Pedagogical Proposal of the School of Basic Education "Alonso de Mercadillo" of the city of Loja.
