Prevención integral del uso y consumo de alcohol, tabaco y otras drogas en el personal docente y administrativo de la Unidad Educativa Emiliano Ortega Espinoza del cantón Catamayo de la provincia de Loja

Abstract

Abstract: The consumption of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs have caused negatively within an organization, that the health and well-being of workers and among them is affected, decreasing their total productivity and also causing death in the worst case. It has been seen the need to carry out a study in the Emiliano Ortega Espinoza Educational Unit of the Catamayo canton, Loja province, given that at present the work modality in which its personnel are found has generated several psychological situations that lead to consumption psychotropic substances. The present work was developed with the objective of applying ASSIST methodology to 81 workers of the Institution, including teachers and administrators. Consumption levels were evaluated for each substance mentioned in the test and preventive measures were proposed to minimize risks and provide safety and health to its workers. The results obtained showed a 76.55% moderate risk in the consumption of alcoholic beverages, indicating that more than half of its collaborators need help to face these problems.
