Identificación de problemática socioambiental en la parroquia Malacatos 2020

Abstract

Abstract:The socio-environmental problem is an action carried out by the human being, which causes harmful effects on the environment; The objective of this research work was to identify socioenvironmental problems in the Malacatos parish, in specific issues such as water, soil, flora, fauna, noise, air through the perception of the study population and propose management strategies, with mixed methodology, with surveys semi-structured applied to people over 18 years of age, due to the health situation of Covid-19 via the web and in person. To triangulate the information, interviews were conducted with key stakeholders, considering as the main resources affected in the Malacatos parish: water, affected by the lack of sanitary infrastructure and waste from pig farms; the soil, affected by the expansion of the agricultural frontier and the use of fertilizers and finally the air, affected by the burning and deposit of solid waste, the emission of polluting gases by artisanal factories and the emission of loose dust through unpaved roads. Given this, strategies were developed and applied through a detailed summary in infographics for each of the problems, to reduce the problems identified.
