Abstract

Abstract: The urban landscape, in recent years has received a lot of interest for various sciences, however, it deserves greater attention since its contribution to territorial and urban planning can be valuable and contributes to achieving sustainable and sustainable territories. In the study that we present "The Landscape in Urban Planning", the city is not analyzed in isolation, but as a system, which is related to its periphery and which includes the influence of the cantonal territory as the sustenance and background where it is settles the city and the rest of urban centers. It approaches the concept of landscape and urban landscape, and based on the exploration of methodologies already developed, it looks for a way to insert them in our cities and specifically in urban planning, identifying units of analysis, based on certain characteristics; For this, it makes use of the application of an inventory and valuation sheet of landscape analysis units, very useful to diagnose them and establish guidelines and recommendations that are collected in an outline of the catalog of urban landscape units.
