Abstract:Narrative journalism is the middle ground between literature and reporting. In this type of content, the information is presented as if it were a story, sometimes mixing fiction to give life to the story. The figure of women is a constant in this type of journalism, both as a character and as an author, however, there is no study about how women are presented within non-fiction, despite being an important resource in this genre. Authors such as Gabriel García Márquez, Mario Vargas Llosa, Leila Guerreiro and Alma Guillermoprieto have shone, but in this case the work of the writer Eduardo Galeano stands out, who, through his stories, shows women as a reflection of his perception of In order to discover this, Latin America was analyzed the female archetypes in some of the stories in the books Mujeres (2015) and Espejos (1955), where the woman is shown as mother, villain, seductress and fairy, but above all, as human.
