| Abstract: | Abstract: Aesthetic treatments are intended to generate a change in the personal appearance of each human being, both men and women make use of them, although the female sex has a greater incidence in the use of treatments. In the present work, the changes generated in the capillary structure of the hair due to induced aesthetic treatments such as: washing with cold and warm water, drying and ironing of the hair, bleaching, dyeing, sun exposure and UV exposure are shown. The samples collected correspond to three women in an age group of 20, 30 and 40 years, without precedents of previous use of aesthetic treatments, giving a total of 30 hair samples. The analysis techniques defined for the present research are optical microscopy with the use of white light, optical filters, polarized light and the measurement of electrical conductivity. The deduced results show significant changes in the hair structure in the samples subjected to ironing, bleaching and staining, and the presence of traumatic hair dysplasia in samples induced by physical agents. |
| Description: | Resumen: Los tratamientos estéticos tienen como finalidad generar un cambio en la apariencia personal de cada ser humano, tanto hombres como mujeres hacen uso de los mismos, aunque el género femenino tiene una mayor incidencia en el empleo de los tratamientos. En el presente trabajo de titulación se manifiestan los cambios generados en la estructura capilar del cabello debido a los tratamientos estéticos inducidos como: lavado con agua fría y tibia, secado y planchado del cabello, decoloración, tinción, exposición solar y exposición UV. Las muestras recolectadas corresponden a tres mujeres comprendidas en un grupo etario de 20, 30 y 40 años, sin precedentes de uso previo de tratamientos estéticos, dando un total de 30 muestras de cabellos. Las técnicas de análisis definidas para la presente investigación son microscopía óptica con el uso de luz blanca, filtros ópticos, luz polarizada y la medición de la conductividad eléctrica. Los resultados deducidos manifiestan cambios significativos en la estructura capilar en las muestras sometidas a planchado, decoloración y tinción, y la presencia de displasias pilosas traumáticas en muestras inducidas por agentes físicos. |
