Abstract

Abstract: Given the lack of decent housing for rural towns in the Amazon region, this thesis is carried out, where bibliographic research is developed first to determine the different conceptualizations of social interest housing. Subsequently, the analysis and diagnosis of the Yantzaza canton of the province of Zamora Chinchipe is developed, to determine the existing problems with respect to the lack of Social Interest housing in this region. We will be based on the different research methods, qualitative and quantitative, to be able to generate a work according to reality. Once the analysis and diagnosis of the canton's housing problem has been carried out, the best construction system and materiality necessary to find a prototype of social interest housing will be determined. At the end we will have the design of a house that can be adapted to the warm humid climates of the rural Amazonian sector of Ecuador, specifically the Yantzaza canton. It is a housing module, which can be adapted to various types, which will accommodate families from 3 to 8 inhabitants per family.
