dc.description	Resumen: El presente trabajo de titulación, se realizó con el objetivo de conocer la situación de la gestión de la Reserva de Biosfera Bosque Seco y así determinar el nivel de cumplimiento de sus objetivos. Se aplicó como metodología el Marco Referencial de Hockingsde UICN con ciertas adaptaciones. Los resultados determinaron que la reserva tiene un nivel de manejo satisfactorio llegando al 55%. Los ámbitos tienen diferentes niveles de efectividad obteniendo mayor nivel el de Planificación con un 67%, seguido de Impactos 63% y el de Contexto con el 62%;elmás bajo es el ámbito de los Procesos con un 40% que muestra la mayor necesidad de mejora de la Reserva. Favorece la gestión de la reserva de biosfera el liderazgo asumido por la Mancomunidad de Bosque Seco.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	Abstract: The present work, was carried out with the objective of knowing the situation of the management of the Biosphere Reserve Dry Forest in the province of Loja and thus measure the fulfillment of the objectives.The work was developed based on the Framework of Hockings.The results determined that the reserve has an unsatisfactory management level reaching 55%. The areas have different levels of effectiveness obtaining higher level of Planningwith 67%, followed by Impacts 63% and Context with 62%, the lowest is the area of Processwith 40% where the need of this area is shown.Although a forest restoration program has beenimplemented in the reserve with some cantons of the Reserve, it covers only a small percentage.	es_ES
