| Abstract: | Abstract: During the confinement by the COVID-19 pandemic, an impact was caused on environmental behavior related to the consumption of resources, and the variation of habits of use of these in the population. This work presents a diagnosis on the behaviorof consumption of resources of the people of the canton Zapotillo before and during the time of confinement, where consumption variables are described in: food, transport, energy and water; and then these were related to the independent variable of sex. The information was collected through an online survey and the data was descriptively analyzed. The results identified the change in the consumption of resources that existed before and during the confinement time, the variation in habits that generated thepandemic.It was determined that sex did influence the consumption of resources, concluding that due to the pandemic there was a change in behavior, which caused an increase in their consumption in the Zapotillo canton. |
| Description: | Resumen: Durante el tiempo de confinamiento provocado por la pandemia de COVID-19,causóun impacto en el comportamiento ambiental relacionado con el consumo de recursos, y la variación de hábitos de uso de estos en la población. En este trabajo se presenta un diagnóstico sobre el comportamiento de consumo de recursos de las personas en el cantón Zapotillo antes y durante el tiempo de confinamiento.Se describen variables de consumo en: alimentos, transporte, energía y agua; y luego estas fueron relacionadas con la variable independiente de sexo. La información fue recabada mediante una encuesta on line y los datos se analizaron de manera descriptiva. En los resultados se identificó el cambio en el consumo de recursos que existió antes y durante el tiempo de confinamiento, y la variación de hábitos que generó la pandemia. Se determinó que el sexo si influyó sobre el consumo de los recursos, concluyendo que debido a la pandemia existió un cambio de comportamiento, lo que provocó un aumento de consumo en el cantón Zapotillo. |
