Abstract

Abstract: In this manual, the correct techniques and treatments have been selected to be given to all the processes carried out in a sanitary landfill to ensure that it reaches its useful life and good operation without causing harm to human health and the environment.This work has indicators for a good operation and management of solid waste in the final disposal site, in the same way a contudent supervision guide that will help to improve and control the problems that may be caused, in the same way, the most appropriate methodology was chosen for the technical closure of the same and to have a control after its closure.With the help of the developed methodology, direct observation records were applied to know the operating status of the sanitary landfill and identify the most visible problems for immediate action for their improvement.The manual includes interviews to carry out the management and operational personnel that will help to have a better understanding of the operations that are being carried out at the sanitary landfill.It also includes a survey directed to the surrounding inhabitants of the place to find out if it causes any discomfort or condition caused by the sanitary landfill.the manual provides a sheet to evaluate the efficiency percentage in which the sanitary landfill is being carried, all these processes were applied to the case study to approve the methodology.
