Abstract: | Abstract: The Andean chakra and the farmermarket are territorial assets of great importance for Cotacachi, mainly managed by women belonging to the Union of Farmerand Indigenous Organizations of Cotacachi UNORCAC and the Central Women's Committee of this organization. Both assets were studied to contribute to the revaluation of the Andean chakra and the farmermarket, and consequently to the territorial development of this canton. For this, the territory was diagnosed, based on the Territorial Development and Planning Plans of the Provincial Decentralized Autonomous Government of Imbabura, the cantonal of Cotacachi and the parishes of Quiroga and Imantag. The territorial actors were also studied through the MACTOR application, while with the IGO tool the actions to build the multi-actor strategy were defined, which is the mechanism proposed to revalue the Andean chakra and the farmermarket, which constitutes the contribution of the present study. It will be extended that the hypothesis raised "the peasant marketpromoted by UNORCAC, is an appropriate territorial proposal to value the Andean chakra in the Cotacachi canton", is partially fulfilled, since, although the farmermarket, it is an ideal proposal that leads to it, other promoters are also necessary to achieve this goal. |
