| dc.description | Resumen: El Ecuador posee una gran biodiversidad de georecursos, los cuales permiten el desarrollo del turismo de una región y educación a través de la identificación de diversos recursos geológicos que favorecen el desarrollo económico y social; el patrimonio geológico a través de los años se ha convertido en una alternativa que favorece el desarrollo económico, investigativo y social de un territorio, a través de la identificación de puntos de interés geológico (PIG). Mediante este trabajo de fin de titulación se pretende contribuir con la identificación, categorización y valoración de PIG s dentro de la provincia de Loja, utilizando el modelo metodológico definido por el Instituto Geológico Minero de España (IGME). Los geositios identificados en la provincia de Loja se encuentran distribuidos en los cantones de Saraguro, Loja, Catamayo, Chaguarpamba, Gonzanamá, Espíndola, Paltas, Puyango, Zapotillo, Pindal, Macará, Célica, Sozoranga y Calvas, con una valoración de interés tanto científico, didáctico y turístico de 7,75 (muy alto), 5,78 (alto), 3,32 (medio). | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | Abstract: Ecuador has a great biodiversity of georesources, which allow the development of tourism in a region and education through the identification of various geological resources that favor economic and social development; Geological heritage over the years has become an alternative that favors the economic, research and social development of a territory, through the identification of points of geological interest (PIG). Through this end-of-degree project, it is intended to contribute to the identification, categorization and assessment of PIGs within the province of Loja, using the methodological model defined by the Spanish Geological Mining Institute (IGME).
