Estudio de factibilidad para la implementación de un Centro de Turismo Comunitario en la comunidad Quilajaló, cantón Salcedo, provincia Cotopaxi

Abstract

Abstract: This project proposes the feasibility study for the implementation of a Community Tourism Center in Salcedo, Cotopaxi province, a mixed research approach was used, with the support of bibliographic research and field work, 7 tourist attractions were registered in the community. With the market study, the profile of the potential visitor to the establishment was determined, knowing their tastes and travel preferences, the analysis of the demand shows that 97% of the tourist demand is willing to visit the CTC Quilajaló and that 64% prefer ecotourism and cultural tourism. In the technical study, the architectural proposal was considered considering designs that adapt to the environment with the construction of cabins, social areas and a cultural center. Finally, with the financial economic study, the total value of the investment was determined at $110.820,27, with a NPV of $169.727,65, an IRR of 58,73%. To conclude, it is feasible to implement this project in order to diversify the tourist offer and contribute to improving the quality of life of the local population.
