Propuesta de Políticas Públicas para la Gestión del Transporte Comercial dentro del Cantón Cañar

Abstract

Abstract: This degree work was carried out in the Cañar Canton, mainly in the urban area from the city Cañar, located south of Ecuador in the province of Cañar; whose objective was develop a public policy proposal aimed at optimizing transportation management commercial in the Cañar Canton, seeking to increase the efficiency, safety and sustainability of the socio-economic system of the Cañar canton; for which three techniques were established research, bibliographic review to analyze the regulations that currently govern the canton, direct observation to learn about current commercial transportation practices within the urban area of ​​the city Cañar, and surveys directed at partners of taxi companies and mixed transport; With the information obtained, we proceeded to analyze the results and design the public policy proposal, for this the needs and possible solution alternatives; Thus, the result was that the most urgent problems are the poor state of road infrastructure, lack of control over informal transportation and road education to commercial transport drivers.
