Análisis de las exportaciones petroleras en el Ecuador

Abstract

Abstract: This study analyzes the oil sector as a fundamental and priority pillar of the Ecuadorian economy, taking an analysis from Latin America to the core of our country, evidencing the importance and evolution by which this sector has transcended over time, however, the accelerated growth that this sector has managed to attract impressive challenges, especially at an environmental and social level, is so much the impact that this generates, that in the areas where more oil extraction is generated, the communities suffer highly from poverty, pollution, lack school structures, etc. Ecuador since its beginnings has suffered from a great dependence on this oil sector that leads us to understand in large part the structure and financial actions of the country, being this the one that has generated the most income and foreign currency for Ecuador, becoming highly dependent on this sector, where the main challenge for Ecuador lies in finding a middle ground between taking advantage of the economic benefits of oil and promoting other sectors to ensure sustainable economic growth and less vulnerable to variations in the oil market.
