Abstract

Abstract: This Curricular Integration Work is carried out with the purpose of critically and legally analyzing Sentence N. º 904-12-JP/19 with links to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and the subject of Constitutional Law in which it exists the violation of the right to priority care towards Mrs. Jessika del Rosario Nole Ochoa, who was pregnant and for this reason, went with her husband to the hospital of the Ecuadorian Social Security Institute (IESS) in the city of Machala because she had mild labor pains. Unfortunately, she does not receive the necessary medical attention, a situation that is considered obstetric violence and is developed by the Constitutional Court to make the pertinent decisions of comprehensive reparation. Due to different factors, the citizen reference is transferred to another hospital, violating her right to health which is established in our Constitution and serves as a reference to link this background with the Sustainable Development Goal SDG N. º 3, which its purpose is to work for the well-being and health of people.
