Preferencias académicas de los estudiantes de la carrera de Derecho y su vinculación con los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) a través del estudio de sentencias

Abstract

Abstract: This investigative work is based on a thorough review of doctrinal and jurisprudential currents with the purpose of introducing the reader to the 2030 Agenda, the importance of the ODS and how it relates to the judgment Series C No. 306 García Ibarra and Others vs. Ecuador, an analysis will be carried out of the violation of rights, as well as the way in which justice was administered in this case by all the actors who participated during this prolonged litigation. The selected topic has representative elements such as Access to Quality Justice, Legal Security, Effective Judicial Protection, fundamental legal rights that serve as a basis to propose a discussion aimed at resolving the question if the Ecuadorian justice bodies honestly protected these rights and if the reasonable period for its judicial resolution was met. Furthermore, the analysis of this ruling will allow the application of the knowledge acquired during the course of the degree and reveal the preferences of legal science in future lawyers at UTPL, with the appropriate use of legal language.
