La indigencia y la mendicidad como problemática socioeconómica en el Cantón Quito, Provincia de Pichincha, año 2020

Abstract

Abstract: The present investigation aims to make an approach of the main consequences or factors that have led to resorting to indigence and begging; these phenomena have affected not having a decent economy, for which it is necessary to obtain data regarding what happened, that is why indigence will be investigated and analyzed in the Province of Pichincha, Canton Quito, allowing to verify what is the situation in which they live and, what guides citizens to make the decision to be in desolation; neglect or with just enough, and if state aid is indifferent to the streets flooded with citizens without a perspective of life without opportunities. Because we cannot be insensitive to the lack of opportunities that have been generated for citizens, they have taken to the streets, creating an economic deficiency due to a sovereignty not empowered to reduce the rates of poverty, corruption, unemployment, crime or gangs, etc., it is therefore necessary to question and understand the social and economic public policies created by the national and local governments in order to develop measures that help to decentralize the problem and establish viable solutions that allow for social inclusion and integration, starting with the children and youth of Ecuador.
