Abstract

Abstract: The fundamental basis of this project is to identify the academic preferences of law students and how they are linked to the sustainable development goals. This is achieved through the study and analysis of rulings, such as, in this case, the study of Ruling No. 98-23-JH/23, on the denaturalization of habeas corpus. Issued by the Constitutional Court of Ecuador, it is closely related to SDG 16 regarding access to quality justice, legal certainty, good administration of justice, as well as due process. It highlights that administrators of justice must act with integrity and in accordance with the law, avoiding misinterpretation of the constitutional norm. The line of study consists of researching, analyzing, and understanding the SDGs and why it is important that they be related to the ruling, identifying the violated rights so that the student can comprehensively identify the legal problems arising from said study and how their academic preferences allow them to have a greater vision and understanding of these problems.
