Abstract

Abstract: The objective of the research is to verify the pedagogical principles that support the planning of pre-professional practice developed by the students of the Basic Education program at the Private Technical University of Loja (UTPL). It has a quantitative-descriptive research methodology, based on a deductive approach, under a positivist philosophy, which allowed the collection and analysis of data based on the object of study. The conclusions reached were that the pedagogical principles are actions that guide teaching practice from a constructivist vision, promoting comprehensive, critical and reflective training, when applied during the teaching-learning process, seeking in students to develop skills and competencies to life. The results of the research were significant, in such a way that by supporting teaching practice through pedagogical principles, it was demonstrated that students are the indispensable agents within the educational teaching process, in such a way that it allows direct interaction. . between the teacher and the students in a spirited, active and participatory way, achieving meaningful learning and forming competent beings in society.
