Abstract

Abstract: The main objective of this thesis, entitled Academic Preferences of Law Students and Their Connection to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), is to understand the factors that influence UTPL Law Graduates in order to develop preferences for specific areas of legal science and their future specialization in them. Based on this, this thesis is directly linked to the subject of Constitutional Law and its analysis to the study of Sustainable Development Goal No. 16, which is dedicated to achieving transparent institutions. It is important to note that this goal safeguards five rights, such as: the right to access to quality justice, the right to legal certainty, the right to effective judicial protection, the right to good public administration, and, finally, the right to communication, participation, and communication. Finally, based on the above, these are the criteria by which they were linked to ruling 202-19-JH/21, a judicial case that exposes the alleged violation of the right to liberty, family privacy, physical integrity, and the right to proper institutional care.
