Abstract

Abstract: This study investigates the optimization of working capital in the profitability of Ecuadorian companies in the commercial sector through the company MODERNA ALIMENTOS S.A and in the manufacturing sector, with the companies ASISERVY S.A. and ADHEPLAST S.A. The study seeks to identify effective strategies and sector factors that influence this relationship. The methodology includes a comparative statistical analysis to identify significant patterns and relationships between working capital variables and profitability, as well as the application of linear programming, which will allow the variables to be optimized during the period 2019-2023. This application not only manages working capital, but also optimizes the profitability of equity in the long term, providing better outcomes to the investor. But it is not only about knowing these tools, but also about identifying the different macroeconomic and sectoral risks that affect the financial stability of Ecuadorian companies, the commercial and manufacturing sector, but also offering support tools to adapt to the needs of each of the industries in order to reduce the dangers that may arise.
