Abstract

Abstract: The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a set of 17 targets adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in 2015 with the purpose of addressing global challenges and improving the quality of life worldwide. These goals range from eradicating poverty and hunger to promoting gender equality, climate action, and peace. Sustainable Development Goal No. 16 (SDG 16) specifically focuses on "Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions." This goal aims to promote peaceful, inclusive, and just societies, ensure access to justice for all, and build effective and accountable institutions. It seeks to reduce violence, combat corruption, and ensure that both public and private institutions are transparent and accountable. SDG 16 aims to promote peaceful, inclusive, and just societies while ensuring access to justice for all. In the context of Judgment No. 192-16-EP/22, the violation of the right to legal security and the guarantee of compliance with rules and the rights of the parties suggest deficiencies in the judicial system and the institutions responsible for administering justice.
