Abstract

Abstract: In recent years, technological innovation has emerged dramatically in all areas of science and education. In the latter, artificial intelligence has become a very useful tool to strengthen the teaching-learning process. In such a way, the impact of artificial intelligence tools such as GTP Chat has transformed educational paradigms in the development of academic skills. One of the skills that have been strengthened with the use of this A.I. tool. It is critical thinking. The main objective of this work is to determine the effect of the CHAT GPT Artificial Intelligence platform as a pedagogical resource for the development of critical thinking at the level of Higher Basic General Education. Through the application of a methodology with a mixed approach and quasi-experimental design, applied to a population composed of 18 students, a survey was carried out on the students' perception regarding the use of the GTP Chat as a pedagogical resource, as well as through a test of Pre and post test, the level of critical thinking is determined, managing to identify quantitative and qualitative assessments. In such a way, it is possible to determine a positive relationship of the GTP Chat tool in the teaching-learning process, reaching the conclusion that the application of the GTP Chat resource as a pedagogical resource constitutes an element that strengthens the development of critical thinking of the students. students.
