Planificación Turística de los atractivos naturales de las parroquias rurales del Cantón Catamayo

Abstract

Abstract: This research addresses tourism planning of natural attractions in the rural parishes of Catamayo Canton, with the objective of developing strategies that promote sustainable tourism and the responsible use of natural resources. Tourist attractions, their relationship with territorial planning and the opportunities they offer for local development are analyzed. The methodology used is based on the analysis of the tourism inventory, the evaluation of existing infrastructure, and the identification of tourism potential. Aspects such as environmental conservation, strategic planning and the integration of local communities in tourism management are considered. The results show the need for adequate planning to strengthen rural tourism, improve infrastructure and diversify the tourism offer. Strategies are proposed to strengthen cultural identity, optimize tourism resources and guarantee the sustainability of the destinations. It is concluded that tourism in the rural parishes of Catamayo can become an engine of economic development if it is properly managed, promoting environmental conservation and community participation in tourism planning.
