Abstract

Abstract: The research work deals with the topic: Academic Preferences of Law Students and their Link with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through the Study of Judgments . Its main purpose is to shed light on the aspects that influence UTPL Law graduates in the acquisition of specific preferences on certain branches of law and their subsequent future specialization. From the analysis of Criminal Law, an analysis is made of the sentence No. 13-18-CN/21 of the Constitutional Court of Ecuador, which makes an analysis of article 175 numeral 5 of the Organic Integral Criminal Code for a consultation raised by the judge of the Judicial Unit of Adolescent Offenders based in the Metropolitan District of Quito that substantiated a process for an alleged rape between adolescents, so it is determined the additive constitutionality and the non-age of consent of the alleged victim. This work of integration of knowledge links SDG 16, which promotes the rule of law and equal access to justice, through the promotion of transparent and solid institutions, for the eradication of violence in all its forms. Likewise, it promotes peace, stability, human rights and substantial democracy, for a guaranteeing governance, which is fundamental for the realization of the Constitutional State of Rights and Justice.
