Salud mental, capital psicológico y satisfacción laboral en trabajadores ecuatorianos del sector educativo del cantón Puerto Quito durante el año 2024

Abstract

Abstract: The present study was developed with the objective of determining the prevalence of mental health, psychological capital and job satisfaction in Ecuadorian workers in the educational sector of the Puerto Quito Educational Unit, The sample consisted of 65 teachers; (30.77%) male and (69.23%) female; it is a non-experimental research of transversal and descriptive cut, for the collection of data the Depression Scales were used, The Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale (DASS-21) was used for data collection, highlighting the symptomatology of Absence in the variables of depression (95%), anxiety (89%), and stress (95%), suggesting that there is no predominant or alarming factor within the sample studied. The other instruments used were the Psychological Capital questionnaire and the Job Satisfaction Scale, the results that were evidenced in both components are within the parameters of the mean (M) of moderately high interpretation. Thus, it is concluded that those teachers who had a high mean (M) and standard deviation (SD) also showed greater extrinsic and intrinsic satisfaction.
