| Abstract: | Abstract: The present research work refers to the academic preferences of law students and their connection with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 16, "Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions" through the study of sentences where various research methods are used Regarding the topic, this research was carried out through an analysis where the most recurrent areas of law are verified and which are associated with SDG No. 16. This research inclines us more to criminal law and the human rights that are associated to the violation of rights and judicial protection. This work teaches us how academic preferences can be linked, especially with SDG No. 16, and thus proposing strategies to integrate these objectives into legal education will be important for future lawyers to address global problems and promote more just and peaceful societies. This investigation was also associated with the ruling of the Constitutional Court, Sentence 1271-18-EP 123, Case 1271-18-EP, of September 20, 2023, where the right to legal security and effective judicial protection was violated. , provided for in articles 82 and 75 of the Constitution. |
| Description: | Resumen: El presente trabajo de investigación se refiere a las preferencias académicas de los estudiantes de Derecho y su conexión con el Objetivo de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) 16, "Paz, Justicia e Instituciones Sólidas" mediante el estudio de sentencias donde se utilizan varios métodos de investigación referente al tema, esta investigación la realicé por medio de un análisis en donde se verifican las áreas del derecho más recurrentes y las cuales estén asociados con el ODS N° 16. Esta investigación nos inclina más al Derecho Penal y los Derechos Humanos que están asociados a la vulneración de derechos y tutela judicial. Este trabajo nos enseña cómo se pueden vincular las preferencias académicas, en especial con el ODS N°16 y así proponer estrategias para integrar estos objetivos en la educación jurídica será importante para que los futuros abogados aborden problemas globales y promuevan sociedades más justas y pacíficas. Dicha investigación también fue asociada con la sentencia de la Corte Constitucional, Sentencia 1271-18-EP 123, Caso 1271-18-EP, de 20 de septiembre de 2023 en donde hubo vulneración a la seguridad jurídica y a la tutela judicial efectiva, previsto en los artículos 82 y 75 de la Constitución de la República del Ecuador. |
