Abstract

Abstract: The relationship between the family and the school is very important in the development of children aged 3 to 5 years, without a doubt. Both environments play a fundamental role in their education and formation. Cooperation and communication between parents and teachers are the ideal key to ensuring a supportive and learning-friendly environment. Based on data from several studies about family and school dynamics, this research work was carried out with the general objective of strengthening the family-school relationship in early education institutions through innovative strategies that promote communication and participation. The context in which this study was conducted included the San Francisco de Asís and in the Municipal Borja educational units in the city of Loja. It involved the collaboration of teachers and preparatory-level parents from both institutions. A survey was applied to gather the necessary information, which was processed using a mixed approach (qualitative and quantitative). Based on the results, a proposal was developed focusing on the dimension with the lowest percentage.
