Abstract

Abstract: This research work shows the relevance of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to ensure a sustainable future. In this sense, the analysis of SDG No. 6 Clean Water and Sanitation, which is closely linked to Environmental Law, as evidenced by the Judment: No. 023-18-SIS-CC of the Constitutional Court. This research reveals how environmental norms have been violated, generating negative consequences for our environment and society in general. It also highlights the need to strengthen the concept of the rights of nature, in order to prevent environmental damage on a small and large scale. An analysis of these aspects shows the importance of proper water and sanitation management in order to protect the environment and ensure the well-being of both present and future generations.
